People pray to Irattai Vinayagar (Twin Vinayaka) for child boon and prosperity.

Festival Period

Those who are affected with Naga (serpent) dosha consecrate Nagar (statue of a serpent) on the banks of Agni Theertha and pray for the dosha relief. Vastra are offered as gratitude.
