Pariharam

People pray for the welfare of the children. They bring sick children to the temple, throw away Vanni nuts after rounding them on the child's head. They firmly believe that these thrown nuts attack the disease of the child as the arrows of Arjuna attack the enemies.

Pariharam Procedure

As Tulabaram (offering some items as fruits etc. equal to weight) is practiced in Guruvayour, devotees offer Vanni nuts for Tulabaram in this temple.
